SANTA ROSA, Calif., Nov. 9 -- Optical Coating Laboratory Inc.'s board of directors has decided not to proceed with a planned stock split at this time, in light of the company's pending merger with JDS Uniphase Corp. The company had announced earlier that its stockholders had approved an increase in authorized shares of common stock from 30 million shares to 100 million shares in order to allow for a 2-for-1 stock split in the form of a 100-percent stock dividend.
