Omega Optical Inc. has moved into a 30,000-sq-ft world headquarters and manufacturing facility in Brattleboro, Vt. The optical filters company has consolidated its operations while upgrading manufacturing capacity. Among the equipment it has purchased are large-format sputtering systems for durable surface and high-volume protected coatings, and a large-capacity, high-current ion-assist e-beam system. Also acquired is a load-locked, automated assembly line for its 3rd Millennium filters.
