Novanta Moves UK Headquarters to $12M Facility
STOCKPORT, England, Aug. 5, 2024 — Novanta, a manufacturer of lasers and optical subsystems for medical and industrial applications, is relocating from its founding premises to a 70,000 sq ft facility. The move supports the company’s continued expansion.

Originally founded as Laser Quantum Ltd. in 2002, the organization was acquired by U.S.-based Novanta Corporation in 2017, granting Novanta a presence in the DNA sequencing market and a greater foothold in European markets. The new location quadruples its capacity compared to the previous facility, with two thirds of its space devoted to a clean room environment.
