AOptix Technologies Inc. has been selected by Northrop Grumman Corp. to design and build free-space optical terminals for the ORCA project sponsored by DARPA and administered by the US Air Force Research Laboratory. The project is an adverse-weather, high-connectivity, jam-resistant high-bandwidth network. AOptix will provide its modified lasercom terminals for developing and testing in a variety of air-to-air and air-to-ground applications.
