Nikon Combines Metrology, Inspection Businesses
Nikon Instruments Inc. of Melville, N.Y., has integrated high-precision industrial metrology business units. Semiconductor Inspection and Nexiv Vision Measuring Systems under the new Sitech Div. in Tempe, Ariz. The reorganization was designed to improve efficiency and customer support, and to increase integration of metrology applications across the defense, automotive and semiconductor markets.
