Azzurri Technology Group, a UK provider of design support services to high-technology OEMs, is a new reseller for NeoPhotonics Corp., a San Jose, Calif., maker of optical modules and subsystems. Azzurri will sell NeoPhotonics' arrayed waveguide gratings, variable optical attenuator/multiplexers, power splitters and couplers, video combiners and a variety of transceivers, including integrated planar lightwave circuit designs, for fiber-to-the-premises, metro and long-haul equipment.    . . .    NASA has selected Science Applications International Corp. of Beltsville, Md., to provide support for Goddard Space Flight Center ocean color research programs. Science Applications will receive a five-year contract with a maximum value of $30 million. The principal work will be performed at Goddard in Greenbelt, Md., and at the contractor's facility. The contractor will support the Ocean Biology Processing Group, which handles sea-viewing, wide field-of-view sensor and moderate resolution imaging spectroradiometer/Aqua ocean color data products; the reanalysis of ocean color data sets from the Coastal Zone Color Scanner and Ocean Color and Temperature Sensor; the development of the prototype data processing system for the Glory, a remote-sensing Earth-orbiting observatory; and other activities.    . . .    Andre Horn has joined the board of directors of Southwall Technologies Inc., a maker of thin-film coatings for the electronic display, automotive glass and architectural markets. Horn has 30 years of experience in financial and operating management positions, including acting chairman of Joy Manufacturing Co. in Pittsburgh, Pa. (now Joy Global). Horn is a director and chairman of the board of Remec Inc., a San Diego, Calif., manufacturer of microwave components for communications and defense electronics.
