In Finland, Modulight Inc. of Tampere, a provider of solutions for optical applications, and Vaisala of Vantaa, a developer of products and services for environmental and industrial measurement, have extended their laser supply agreement. Begun in 2004, the collaboration will continue until 2010. Under the contract, the Tampere-based company will supply its partner with laser diodes for use in a device for remote road friction measurement.
