Horiba Scientific’s MicOS Microscope Optical Spectrometer was named “One of the Best New Instruments of the Year 2013” at the Annual Conference of China Scientific Instruments in Beijing on April 18. The MicOS was the only microspectrometer among 20 products recognized. MicOS combines a microscope head directly coupled to a three-gratings imaging spectrometer and a research-grade scientific camera. It has a UV-VIS-NIR range from 200 to 1600 nm, allowing the characterization of different types of materials such semiconductor and biological samples. It is suited to photoluminescence, electroluminescence and photoreflectance measurements at the microscopic level. For more information, visit www.microspectroscopy.com.
