Michael Roux, Matthew Wilson Join Biolase
IRVINE, Calif., May 11, 2016 — Adding to its executive leadership team, medical device company Biolase Inc. has appointed Michael Roux as its vice president of marketing and Matthew Wilson as its vice president of human resources.
Roux comes to Biolase with experience in marketing and product management, along with a wide range of medical device and multinational business expertise. Most recently, he served as the vice president of product management with Patient Safety Technologies for three years. Roux holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Minnesota and a MBA in marketing from the University of St. Thomas.
Wilson brings more than 15 years of experience in human resource management in diverse industries including dental medical device, commercial real estate and aerospace. Most recently, he served for nearly eight years as human resources director for the Zimmer Biomet Inc. dental business. He holds an MBA in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Utah.
Biolase develops, manufactures, markets and sells laser systems in dentistry and medicine, as well as dental imaging equipment such as digital x-rays and CAD/CAM scanners.
