Medical device developer and manufacturer Mauna Kea Technologies appointed Sacha Loiseau CEO. Loiseau replaces interim CEO Nicolas Bouvier effective immediately. Loiseau co-founded Mauna Kea Technologies and served as its CEO for more than 18 years, taking the company public in July 2011 on Euronext. He served as Mauna Kea Technologies chairman of the board since October 2018.
PREMSTAETTEN, Austria — Ingo Bank, CFO at ams OSRAM, informed the company he does not plan to extend his contract as a member of the company management board beyond 2023. Bank joined ams OSRAM as CFO of OSRAM Licht AG in 2020. He cited personal reasons for the decision not to seek an extension to his contract.
COVINGTON, Ky. — The Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Societies (FACSS) named Igor Lednev the recipient of the 2022 Charles Mann Award for Applied Raman Spectroscopy. Lednev, a distinguished professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University at Albany, State University of New York, was recognized for his work involving the development and application of novel laser spectroscopy for forensics, medical diagnostics, and fundamental biochemistry. ORLANDO, Fla. — Laser Photonics Corp. (LPC), a supplier of high-tech laser systems that last week closed its underwritten initial public offering, appointed Timothy Schick CFO effective Oct. 5. Schick joined LPC in July 2022 as vice president of finance. He served as head of finance at Jupiter Marine International and has served as the director of financial planning and analysis at Everglades Boats.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — Fiber optic cleaning solutions company MicroCare LLC appointed Michael Damiana director of global supply chain. In the role, Damiana will develop and execute a company-wide strategy focused on procuring services, raw materials, and finished good supplies to ensure adequacy of manufacturing process and timely customer response on a global scale. Damiana previously held senior sourcing management positions at Ikonisys, Medtronic, and Hobson & Motzer, and he served as procurement and lean programs manager at Okay Industries.
