Matrox Imaging Accepting Students for Training Course
MONTREAL, Aug. 19, 2010 — Component-level solutions developer Matrox Imaging is accepting students for its smart camera and software classroom training, Oct. 5-7, 2010, at its Montreal headquarters.
Titled “Matrox Design Assistant for Matrox Iris GT,” the course offers students the ability to learn how to develop applications using Design Assistant, an extendable integrated development environment (IDE) for its Iris GT smart camera.
Designed for systems integrators, in-house integration specialists, machine builders and OEMS, the program teaches students how to quickly and easily configure and deploy vision applications by constructing a flowchart instead of writing traditional program code. In addition, students will learn how to set up the operator view (HMI), choose the best analysis and processing tools for their applications and interface to automation equipment such as PLCs, all with the Design Assistant’s IDE.
“Hands-on” workshops and one-on-one time with the company’s developers will ensure that students leave the training with the knowledge needed to solve real-world applications.
