The Lighting and Imaging Business Unit of Schott North America Inc. announced it has appointed Karl Martinson as its defense division manager. A graduate of UMass Lowell, Martinson brings to Schott 18 years of experience in the optics industry. He previously held executive roles in sales and marketing, business development and general management at companies including Jenoptik, Janos Technology, Corning and Thermo Electron.
