PPT Vision Inc. of Eden Prairie, Minn., will supply Automated Assemblies Corp. with its Impact series intelligent camera hardware and Inspection Builder machine vision software on a private-label OEM basis. The products will be incorporated into the Clinton, Mass., company's Linux-based Raptor robotic and automation systems to perform inspection, measurement and guidance tasks on plastic components.
