A German company specializing in machine vision software has expanded its operation into the US with a subsidiary in Cambridge, Mass. MVTec Software GmbH of Munich said that the subsidiary, MVTec LLC, will allow it to expand sales in North America. The company’s machine vision products are used in the semiconductor, web inspection, medical and surveillance industries.
