EMERYVILLE, Calif., June 5, 2019 — LumiGrow has announced that Jay Albere II has been promoted to CEO.
Albere previously held positions within the company as chief operating officer and vice president of sales and marketing.

Prior to joining LumiGrow, Albere held executive leadership positions at Eaton Lighting and General Electric.
Upon his promotion, Albere named Richard Friedrich global director of sales, a position to which he ascended after working as production manager and general manager for two of the largest ornamental nursery operations in California.
Friedrich’s responsibilities include supporting growers with advanced lighting strategies.
According to Albere, LumiGrow will move into larger office space near its San Francisco Bay area location to support its expanding global lighting network of smart horticultural environments.
