Lumen Dynamics Unveils New Logo, Website

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Dec. 20, 2010 — Specialty light delivery solutions provider Lumen Dynamics Group Inc. unveiled recently its new corporate logo and launched its new website following its recent acquisition by the Riverside Co., a private equity firm.

The former Life Sciences & Industrial Div. of Exfo Inc., Lumen Dynamics serves a range of customers worldwide in the life sciences, medical device manufacturing, electronics and digital printing industries. Its product line includes X-Cite, OmniCure, Excelerate and Burleigh.

“Lumen Dynamics differentiates itself with a refined research and development process and core technology that drives the introduction of new products,” said Jack Nestor, principal at Riverside. “The company has a history of innovation and a proven ability to respond quickly to market trends and demands, which meshes nicely with our ambitious plans.”

The company’s new name derives its meaning from the power of light. Its goal is to provide innovative light-based solutions to suit the changing needs of the market.
