Lockheed Awards Multimillion Dollar Contract to LightWorks

LightWorks Optics Inc. of Tustin, Calif., has been awarded a multimillion-dollar direct commercial sales contract for hardware related to the Infrared Search and Tracker System (IRST) from Lockheed Martin. According to LightWorks, a solutions provider for the design, development and fabrication of advanced integrated optical systems, this contract represents a continuation of the ongoing partnership between the two companies.
