Leister Process Technologies of Sarnen, Switzerland, will market the products of its Microsystems Div. under the name Axetris. The new brand joins the company's Novolas laser plastic welding systems and Leister plastic welding and process heat equipment. The division, now known as Axetris Microsystems, supplies OEM micro-optical components, micromachined IR sources and flow sensors. It provides customized solutions based on its expertise in thin-film technology and in surface and bulk micromachining.
