Laserscope Buys InnovaQuartz
Laserscope of San Jose, Calif., has acquired InnovaQuartz Inc. of Phoenix. The Arizona company, operating as a wholly owned subsidiary, will contribute licensed technology, vertically integrated manufacturing techniques, and research and development support. Laserscope expects the acquisition to improve design and manufacture capabilities of disposable fiber optic delivery devices for high-volume urological procedures and to reduce fiber material costs.
