ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 14 -- Laser Technology, Inc. (LTI), a manufacturer of pulse laser measuring systems, has signed a partnership agreement with Ditek Software Corp., a producer of computer-aided drawing and mapping software. Under the terms of the agreement, LTI will bundle Ditek's DynaCOP accident and crime scene diagramming software with LTI's QuickMap Accident Investigation System. Ditek will include a section on LTI's QuickMap laser measuring system in its training program and will use QuickMap at all of its DynaCOP training centers. The two companies will also establish a joint marketing relationship and will participate together in trade shows and training venues.According to Mike Rumble, product manager for Ditek's DynaCOP program, This partnership allows Ditek, LTI and traffic accident investigation training centers to offer a complete 'turnkey' solution to police departments and other law enforcement agencies. The party that will benefit the most is the law enforcement professional who previously may have had both parts of the solution but did not know how to use them together. Blair Zykan, president and CEO of LTI, commented, Data gathered by law enforcement officers using our QuickMap system can now be imported into Ditek's DynaCOP software program, where it will be converted into detailed accident scene maps for use in the courts and by insurance companies.
