Laser Components Hires New Head of Optics Production
OLCHING, Germany, Jan. 16, 2014 — Laser Components GmbH has appointed Uwe Schallenberg as its new head of production for the optical technologies department.
Schallenberg will lead feasibility studies for new designs and evaluations of optical and technical requirements, as well as the research of technology in the manufacturing of new products. He has specialized in optical thin-film technology for more than 35 years, most recently as a consulting engineer. He has a degree in physics from the University of Jena.
