Optical measurement instrument developer Trioptics GmbH has appointed Stefan Krey as an additional managing director. Krey will be directing the company’s development with Eugen Dumitrescu and Steffan Gold. “After obtaining a degree in physics and my Ph.D. from the University of Hamburg, I started out as a developer for the SpectroMaster product at Trioptics in March 2000,” Krey said. Since then, Krey has co-designed numerous product development projects and established the angle measurement . He was appointed the chief technology officer in 2003. Trioptics is a developer of optical measurement, inspection and manufacturing technology for development, quality control and production.
