Jmar to Develop Lasers for Johns Hopkins APL

San Diego-based Jmar Technologies Inc. has been awarded a contract to develop two prototype special purpose lasers for The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), the company announced today. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. Jmar develops sensing systems for detecting chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) materials. The APL's sponsors are mainly government agencies involved in homeland security.
