Jmar Appoints Neil Beer, Charles Dickinson

Neil Beer was named president and CEO and Charles Dickinson as chairman of the board at Jmar Technologies Inc., a San Diego developer of advanced laser technology. Beer, who has been a Jmar director for 15 years, is a former Air Force general and business executive with more than 20 years experience developing and commercializing defense and industrial software and process control technologies. He succeeds Ron Walrod, who joined Jmar in October 2002 as president, CEO and director. Dickensen has served on Jmar's board since 2001 and is also chairman of LeCroy Corp., a provider of oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers and related test and measurement products. Dickinson replaces Vernon Blackman, who will remain a Jmar board member.
