Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH of Jena, Germany, has established a research and development office in Munich, Germany, where its optical development and design engineers will work to improve the company’s high-grade objective lenses for laser materials processing. The products comprise approximately 20 types of diffraction-limited scan lenses useful for field size ranges from 20 to 431 mm and for laser wavelengths of 256, 355, 532 and 1064 nm.
