JAI Inc. of San Jose, Calif., has appointed automated imaging specialist 1stVision Inc. of Andover, Mass., as a distributor of its high-performance industrial cameras throughout the US and eastern Canada. It also has chosen Nu Horizons Electronics Corp., based in Melville, N.Y., to market the products throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. JAI, whose parent company is in Copenhagen, Denmark, produces monochrome and color CCD and CMOS instruments for the machine vision, transportation, military, aerospace, security, medical and scientific sectors.
