A developer of Laser Guided Energy and related products for defense and security applications, Ionatron Inc. has received a modification in its contract with the US government for the continued development of its Laser Induced Plasma Channel technology. The Tucson, Ariz., developer of directed-energy weapons has won an increase of $1.925 million in funding, bringing the total contract value to approximately $3.4 million.
