PHOENIX, Ariz., July 14 -- International FiberCom Inc.'s Infrastructure Development and Services Group has received more than $87 million in new contracts from telecommunication service providers. These new contracts do not include the more than $113 million in contracts the company acquired for network design, engineering and installation services earlier this year. In addition to providing significant revenues, these new customers expand the geographic reach of our end-to-end solutions as well as enhancing our blue-chip customer list, said Joseph P. Kealy, chairman and CEO of International FiberCom. The majority of the new contracts come from the southwestern and eastern regions of the US. The company will place aerial and underground fiber optic and coaxial cable, test and certify the telecommunications networks and provide engineering support. The projects will take three to five years to complete, the company said.
