Intense Photonics Ltd. of Glasgow, UK, has secured $9.2 million for business development from all of its financial investors. The funding will enable the company to expand its project-based operation, which includes the design and volume fabrication of optoelectronic components and modules. It also intends to add more optical semiconductor fabrication equipment, particularly in the area of module packaging.
