Intel Appoints Vice President, General Manager of Foundry Arm: People in the News: 5/15/24
Intel Corporation has appointed Kevin O’Buckley as senior vice president and general manager of Foundry Services, the customer service and ecosystems operations division of Intel Foundry. He succeeds Stuart Pann, who will retire at the end of May. Following his retirement, Pann will remain as an adviser to support the transition. O’Buckley joins Intel with more than 25 years of semiconductor industry experience, most recently acting as senior vice president of hardware engineering for the custom, compute, and storage group at Marvell Technologies. He joined Marvell as part of its 2019 acquisition of Avera Semiconductor where he served as CEO.

SANTA ANA, Calif. — Global manufacturer of technology solutions TTM Technologies has added Wajid Ali as a class I director on its board of directors, succeeding Dov S. Zakheim, who retired May 8. Ali has more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry and currently holds the position of CFO at Lumentum Holdings. He was also previously CFO of Synaptics Incorporated and DALSA Corp. Ali is expected to serve on the board's audit committee.
LAKE FOREST, Ill. — IDEX Corp., a manufacturer of medical and optics systems, has elected Mark A. Buthman, Lakecia N. Gunter, and L. Paris Watts-Stanfield to serve as class II directors on its board. Buthman has been a board member of IDEX since 2016 and is also currently a board member of West Pharmaceutical Services. Gunter is a three-year member of the board and current CTO of global partner solutions at Microsoft. New to IDEX’s board, Watts-Stanfield is the chief procurement officer and former CFO of Alcon, a medical equipment manufacturer.
MONROVIA, Calif. — Welding equipment manufacturer AMADA WELD TECH has appointed Sayeed Chowdhury as CFO. Chowdhury brings more than 18 years’ experience in finance, having previously served as controller and division CFO of Abbot and the Brady Corporation, respectively.
CARDIFF, U.K. — CSconnected Ltd, the collective brand for semiconductor-related activities in Wales, has appointed Howard Rupprecht as managing director June 1. He will be taking over for Chris Meadows who has led CSconnected since its formation in 2017 and will remain on the company’s board as a non-executive director. Rupprecht has been working as a director of CSconnected since January with previous experience as senior director of operations strategy at Rockley Photonics.
