Imra Licenses Patent Rights
Imra America Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich., has acquired rights to a patent held by the US Naval Research Laboratories. This patent, US No. 6,496,301, is for a helical fiber amplifier. The company believes that this technology will improve its high-power fiber lasers.
