Imra America Inc. of Ann Arbor, Mich., has signed an agreement that licenses its amplification technology to Aculight Corp. of Bothell, Wash. The Washington company will have access to a domestic patent for single-mode amplifiers and compressors as well as to related patents relevant to products that use large-mode-area, double-clad fibers.
