IUNU, a developer of AI and machine vision technologies for agricultural applications, has closed a $20 million funding round led by S2G Investment, with participation from Farm Credit Canada and Lewis and Clark Partners. The funds will support the company as it aims to broaden adoption of its AI and machine vision-supported platform, LUNA, as well as its continued expansion into markets in North America and Europe. LUNA delivers plant-level visibility, automated labor analysis, and real-time crop steering and forecasting to help growers optimize crop health, balance, and quality. The solution targets high-value vine crops including tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. According to IUNU, the raised capital will also support the expansion of its commercial and engineering teams.
