ITT Corp. of White Plains, N.Y., has been awarded a contract by Alion Science and Technology of McLean, Va., on behalf of the US Army’s Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate. The contract will fund engineering and initial prototypes of helmet-mounted systems that will combine image-intensified short- and long-wave infrared imagery for display to the user.
