IMRA America Inc. announced Tuesday that it was awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold certification established by the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute for its recently completed addition of an R&D building in Ann Arbor. The ultrafast fiber laser technologies company received the award for its fourth building, located in Ann Arbor Technology Park. The 22,000 sq. ft. facility consists of laboratories and office areas designed from its inception to achieve the LEED gold rating.
