In Ottawa, OneChip Photonics has received the 2009 Outstanding Technology Company Award from the IEEE Ottawa Section. At the 65th Annual General Meeting and celebration of IEEE’s 125th anniversary, the company was honored for its breakthrough approach and optical transceivers based on a photonic integrated circuit. Both will enable the deployment of fiber-to-the-home, and new business and consumer broadband applications.
