Highwave Purchases Northlight Optronics
A supplier of active-fiber-based components and subsystems for the industrial, defense and telecommunications markets, Highwave Optical Technologies of Lannion, France, has announced that its shareholders have approved the acquisition of Northlight Optronics AB as well as the issue of new shares to pay for the purchase. Based in Järfälla, Sweden, Northlight manufactures and designs long-wavelength optical transmitters and receivers.
