Hexagon Metrology Launches Portable Metrology Group

Hexagon Metrology Inc. of North Kingstown, R.I., has formed the Portable Metrology Group to serve the inspection and measurement markets in North America. The unit will provide a single source for the portable coordinate measuring machines, the Leica Geosystems laser trackers and the Romer portable arms, which are used worldwide in the aerospace, automotive, heavy machinery and general engineering industries. Hexagon Metrology is a subsidiary of Hexagon Measurement Technologies, a business unit of Hexagon AB of Nacka Strand, Sweden.
