Helmut Berg to Head JDSU CommTest Unit
Helmut Berg was appointed to lead JDSU's Communications Test & Measurement business, replacing John Peeler, who announced he plans to leave the company in June, JDSO said today. Berg has served JDSU CommTest for 14 years in a variety of executive positions, most recently as senior vice president of its Lab & Production product division. Berg will oversee the Communications Test and Measurement senior management team. Since joining the company in 1993, he has led the conceptualization and development of some of JDSU's most successful test and measurement innovations and managed its lab and production, field service, and service assurance product lines. He has also served on the board of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions.
