UDT Sensors Inc. has begun a partnership with Heimann Sensors GmbH of Dresden, Germany, in which it will be the exclusive North American representative for Heimann's infrared thermopile and pyroelectric detectors and modules for such applications as noncontact IR measurement of temperature and gas concentration. Based in Hawthorne, Calif., UDT is a subsidiary of OSI Systems Inc. and a global supplier of optoelectronic products.
