Machine tool builder Hamai Co. Ltd. of Tokyo has formed a distribution and cobranding agreement with Lapmaster International LLC of Mount Prospect, Ill. Under the arrangement, equipment will be sold in the US, China, India and Europe under the Lapmaster-Hamai brand name. The partnership pertains to all double-sided lapping or polishing machines offered by the Japanese company.
