The US Army's Communications and Electronics Command has awarded Goodrich Corp. of Charlotte, N.C., a $4.5 million contract to supply helicopter laser warning survivability equipment spares. The components will be used to repair and replace the company's installed base of equipment on the Army's craft. The allotment represents the first year of an indefinite delivery and quantity contract, which could lead to an additional $25 million in revenue for Goodrich over a five-year period.
