Carolyn Corvi, retired vice president and general manager of Boeing’s commercial airplanes business, has been elected to the board of directors of Goodrich Corp., the company announced. Corvi, a 34-year veteran of Boeing, held leadership positions in program management, quality assurance, propulsion systems and aircraft systems prior to her retirement in 2008. She holds a BA in history from the University of Washington and an MS in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Business. Goodrich, based in Charlotte, N.C., supplies systems and services to the aerospace, defense and homeland security markets.
