Under a contract valued at more than $700,000, optical components manufacturer Gooch & Housego plc of Ilminster, UK, will supply quartz wave plates for the National Ignition Facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, Calif. The Gooch & Housego group has worked with the facility's team on previous projects.
