Pleora Technologies of Ottawa has forged an agreement with Atmel Corp. of San Jose, Calif., to cooperate on Gigabit Ethernet connectivity technology for industrial vision systems. As part of the arrangement, it is contributing hard- and software that enables Atmel's industrial cameras to communicate with personal computers in real time over standard Gigabit Ethernet connections. The products are designed for Atmel cameras equipped with Camera Link interfaces.
