GigOptix Appoints New CFO
GigOptix Inc., a fabless supplier of high-speed analog components located in Palo Alto, Calif., announced that Dawn Casterson, chief accounting officer and acting chief financial officer, tendered her resignation on Nov. 30, 2009. The resignation is effective as of Dec. 11, 2009. In other company news, GigOptix also announced that Ron Shelton has been named the company’s new chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1, 2009. He will also serve as principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. Shelton has more than 15 years of experience in senior financial roles for technology companies based in Silicon Valley.
