GSI to Supply Laser Fuse Processing Platform
GSI Group Inc. of Wilmington, Mass., will supply its next-generation M455 Green Laser WaferRepair systems to a manufacturer of memory chips under a purchase order valued at more than $13 million. The systems were designed to address the technological requirements associated with the laser fuse processing of high-density DRAM and Nand flash.
In other news, GSI Group has received a multiple system purchase order of more than $3 million for its WaferTrim systems, which are used for the production of analog and power management devices.
