MILWAUKEE, Aug. 9 -- GE was rated as the leader in medical diagnostic imaging technology in a recent survey of healthcare providers conducted by MD Information Network (formerly MD Buyline).
An advanced imaging and information system, Centricity Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), from GE Medical Systems Information Technologies received the highest rating among seven leading PACS vendors in a comparison by healthcare providers. The ratings were based on approximately two-dozen interviews with GE customers at healthcare facilities across the nation. Other vendors rated were ALI, Agfa, DR Systems, Eastman Kodak, Fuji and Siemens.
