Flir Systems Inc. of Portland, Ore., has received orders totaling $7.4 million to supply Northrop Grumman Corp. of Los Angeles with infrared imaging cameras for its Litening AT targeting pod. The pods are being deployed on US Air Force B-52 aircraft and on some Air National Guard F-16s craft. Shipments have begun and will continue into early 2005. Litening is a registered trademark of Northrop Grumman's partner, Ra-fael Armament Div., based in Haifa, Israel.
