The Collaborative Alliance for Semiconductor Test (CAST), which provides test equipment support, is joining SEMI as a special interest group that will manage and speed up progress on critical test issues. Members of the former will benefit from administrative effectiveness, global presence, international standards and resources, and added recognition. SEMI will receive CAST’s governance structure and agenda, as CAST will no longer work as a separate nonprofit entity.
